Every great studio, twirler, & team starts with a great staff. From World Champions, College Twirlers, former AK twirlers, University Coaches, and National Champions, Ameri-Kids staff have the talent & expertise to help each twirler be their very best & achieve their goals.
Kristina Sutton

Owner, Director, Coach, & Choreographer
Kristina started twirling at the age of 5 and hasn't stopped being involved in twirling since! Originally from Georgia, Kristina moved to New England in 2021 with her husband and found a twirling home with AK. Throughout her competitive twirling career, Kristina earned many Georgia State, Southeast Regional, and National titles, including Collegiate National wins with the University of Georgia Majorettes of which she was captain for 3 of her 4 years on the team. She was the assistant coach of the UGA Majorettes & Georgettes (dance team) once finished with her own college experience. Kristina has been teaching, coaching, and choreographing since she was in high school and always knew she would want to own a studio one day. She has twirling experience in competitive individuals, competitive teams, college prep, recreational teams, fire baton, and field & parade twirling as well as in dance disciplines including jazz, ballet, acrobatics, tap, hip hop, and lyrical. Kristina is also a licensed NBTA judge and Acrobatic Arts Certified.
Hannah Mullaney

Coach & Choreographer
Hannah started twirling with the Ameri-Kids when she was 4. She competed both in teams and individually and placed top 5 at Nationals. She also won the title of Miss Majorette of the Northeast. After graduating college, Hannah came back to Ameri-Kids to coach. She loves seeing the progress of all her students. If she's not twirling, you can find her on the golf course or walking her dog!
Adreinne Royal

Coach & Choreographer
Adrienne is currently the Program Director for the Manchester Police Athletic League. With over 24 years of experience in youth enrichment and coaching she has led national initiatives in creating character development curriculum and training program staff around the country. She has been recognized for her community impact and strong ability to build lasting relationships, as well as, for developing and expanding nutrition and anti-hunger programs in Southern New Hampshire.
A true coach at heart, she has volunteered hundreds of hours in gymnasiums and on football fields dedicating her time to developing champion baton twirlers, strong cheer-leading teams and well-rounded athletes through positive and double goal coaching. She has elevated competition teams in cheer and baton to be top in the nation and even coached a former Miss New Hampshire. Adrienne is an accomplished athlete herself as the former Feature Twirler for Southern New Hampshire University, and has earned various regional, national and world open titles including Miss Majorette of New Hampshire and the Northeast. These days, in her spare time, Adrienne loves adventures and enjoys anything that involves oceans, woods, mountains, lakes or campfires.
Kenzi Howe

Individuals Coach
Kenzi has been twirling with Ameri-Kids for over 20 years. Since joining AK at age 6, she has twirled on many different stages from the pregame show at the Boston Celtics to the iconic Miss America parade. Kenzi has won many state, regional, and national titles in both individual and team events. Through her experience with competitive baton twirling and pageantry, Kenzi brings both competition and stage experience to the AK staff. She loves getting to help young twirlers grow and push them to reach their fullest potential.
Kayla Flaherty

Individuals Coach
Kayla found her love of twirling at the age of 6.
She began twirling competitively and enjoyed competing until graduating from college. Kayla was the Feature Twirler at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and now holds a psychology degree. She has many state, regional, and national titles in various twirling events. Kayla also represented the USA as a twirling ambassador in the International Spring Festival in Trujillo, Peru. She now enjoys coaching and using her creativity to inspire her students.
Maddie Downer

Guest & Virtual Instructor
Maddie’s journey with baton twirling and Ameri-Kids began in 2009. Throughout her competitive career, she won numerous New Hampshire State and Northeast Regional titles, and continued to be apart of several award-winning teams with AK over the years. With the AK competition team, she and her teammates accomplished National top 5 finishes. Transitioning into coaching in 2019, Maddie has continued to work with Ameri-Kids students for both individual and team events. She went on to become a University of Tennessee Majorette, and twirled in front of 101,915 Vols fans during the 2021-2024 seasons. She has twirled all over the country and even in London, but just as equally loves sharing the sport of baton with the next generation of twirlers.
Ella McDaniel

Guest Instructor
Ella has been twirling since the age of 5 when she started with Ameri-Kids! Currently, she is the Feature Twirler “Golden Girl” at the University of Iowa where she is a senior studying exercise science. She is a 30 time national champion with experience in both NBTA and USTA. Her accolades include 3 time Miss Majorette of America (2016, 2019, & 2022), 2 time Grand National Twirling Champion (2019 & 2023), and 2023 Gold Medalist at the IBTF World Championships in Senior Women X-Strut. Currently coached by Matt and Meredith Freeman in State College, PA… Ella loves coming home to help coach at AK and give back to the team that shaped her twirling career.
Courtney Schaub

Guest Dance Instructor
Courtney Schaub is guest dance teacher here at AK! She started dancing when she was 3 and danced for 17 years before starting to teach! Courtney has trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary, and jazz. She says that teaching has been very fun and rewarding, and seeing the kids improve their skill and how happy they are when they hit new moves is priceless.
