AK Junior Competition Team w/ Pom & Dance

AK's Junior Competition Team with Pom & Dance is for twirlers who want to keep learning & expanding on their skills, while dipping their toes into competitive twirling & adding in dance technique, flexibility, and Pom dance that goes hand in hand with twirling. The Junior Competition Team with Pom & Dance runs all year long, practicing 2 hours per week - 1 hour of twirling & 1 hour of dance & pom technique. They will learn multiple routines, how to do team exchanges, and harder, more difficult skills and material. Twirlers will also gain more coordination, flexibility, and gracefulness with the addition of dance & pom class. The routines they learn & perfect throughout the year are performed at two baton competitions (usually between March & May). Junior Competition with Pom & Dance twirlers also have the opportunity to compete in individual events at competitions.

Twirlers must have taken at least 1 year of one of our Recreation Classes to be eligible for the Junior Competition Team.
