AK Competition Team

The Ameri-Kids (AK) Competition Team is an invitation-only twirling, dance, and pom team. This is for AK Junior Competition or experienced twirlers that are ready to take it to the next level & pursue competitive twirling more seriously. The team practices all year long, at least once a week for 3-4 hours, which includes 1 hour of dance & pom technique. AK competes at minimum 5 competitions per year within the "competition season" (Jan-June/July), which can include local & out-of-state competitions. Typically, these students also compete in multiple individual events.

There is no specific age or skill minimum for the AK Competition Team. Twirlers are invited onto the team by the Director once they have the skills, determination, and dedication to commit to the high standard set for the AK Competition Team.
